Space Usage (RV Spots Sold Out)
1. Only RV’s will be allowed to access and park in the RV Lots (Owner presence required upon delivery).
2. RV Lots are for Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) recognized recreational vehicles only. Parking Services reserves the right to remove any vehicle that is not appropriate for the RV area. RV permits are for RVs only and may not be used for any other vehicles.
3. No tow vehicles will be allowed to remain in the grass RV lot after delivery, under any circumstances, to include motorcycles.
4. Vehicular traffic is discouraged in the paved RV lots.
5. Vehicular use in the RV lots is SOLELY at the discretion of the parking attendant.
6. Paved Parking Lot Space Dimensions in Lots 95 and 96 are as follows:
a. Lot 95 Powered spaces are 35′ x 18′
b. Lot 95 Non-Powered Spaces are 40′ x 18′
c. Lot 96 Non-Powered Interior Spaces are 40′ x 18′
d. Lot 96 Non-Powered Exterior Spaces are 18′ x 18′
7. Grass parking lot spaces are *25’ x 45’*
8. No tow vehicles are allowed in the grass RV lot. The tow vehicle lot will be adjacent to the grass
RV lot.
9. RV Check-in is 8 am – 5 pm daily from Wednesday until Friday, NO EXCEPTIONS.
10. *No RV’s will be allowed to enter after 6 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023.
11. Check out time is Noon on Sunday, November 5, 2023.
Tent Usage
1. Tents are allowed, however they may not exceed 400 sq. ft. (**anything larger will be subject to prior permitted approval**).
2. The tent permit application must be submitted to the Fire Marshal ([email protected]).Please make sure to read Tent Policy prior to opening the application.
3. All tents larger than 400 sq. ft. must have a submitted and approved permit prior to use. No Exceptions.
4. Approved tents must occupy only one space except as authorized by the Fire Marshal. (**No open-flame cooking and/or open-flame apparatuses allowed unless prior permitted approval has been obtained**).
Any tent or canopy that requires a permit under Prairie View A&M University policy shall not beerected without an approved permit issued by the Prairie View A&M University Police Department, Office of the Fire Marshal. Any initial tent permit application submitted to the Office of the Fire Marshal for approval must minimally include documentation of the flame resistance of the tent and/or canopy being erected. Any additional documentation requested by the Office of the Fire Marshal must be submitted no later than 7 days prior to the event.
Note: The only tents and/or canopies allowed in Tent City are from vendors, authorized by the University. Any non-vendor tents and/or canopies are prohibited. Any non-vendor tent/canopy permit applications received by the office of the Fire Marshal will be denied.
Vehicle Parking – CLICK HERE to Reserve Your Spot
1. Car/Truck parking will be available in various lots on-campus at a daily rate. (Payment will only be accepted through the ParkMobile website)
2. Homecoming Only: Off-Site parking will be available on game day at Waller ISD Stadium located at 20950 Field Store Rd. Waller, TX 77484. A shuttle service may be offered from the off-site parking location to the Memorial Student Center (MSC).
*PARKING VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED AND FEES COULD BE IN EXCESS OF $300.00*
General Rules
1. Possession of weapons is discouraged in all tailgate Lots.
2. No drugs allowed.
3. No pets, including Emotional Support Animals (Service Animals are exempt).
4. No ATV’s – including motorcycles (only authorized motor vehicles on the roadways).
5. No combustible materials in trash cans/dumpsters.
6. No blocking of pathways/roadways.
